Last night for dinner we had the most fantastic omelet in the world!  It was literally just the egg, made like and omelet, with a piece of cheese on the top.  Tiffany and I aren't sure what kind of cheese it was, but it was wonderful.

We stayed up kind of late last night, and slept in until 10 or so this morning.  Once we got up, we had breakfast (bread with plum jam) and then got ready to go exploring.  Tiffany and I were supposed to meet up with some friends but we couldn't find the spot that we were supposed to meet them at (and they don't have cell phones yet), so we just went exploring on our own.  We walked down a street near our apartment building and discovered several shops, bakeries, restaurants, etc.  It was fun to just walk around and see the Spaniards.  I posted a picture of a really cute older Spanish couple that was walking down the street in front of us (it's on my facebook...I'll post it below).   It's not the best shot, because I was trying not to be obvious about it, but it was just precious!

We stop at a paper store and Tiffany got a couple of notebooks for school.  And then we stopped at a Tobacco Store (that's where you get stamps and postcards...strange, but true), but they didn't have any postcards at the one we stopped at.  So we'll go again some other time!  (PS:  If you'd like a postcard EMAIL ME YOUR ADDRESS!!)

Once we got back from exploring, we had lunch.  LEFTOVER PAELLA!!!  My new favorite food.  We also had some amazing chicken that was cooked with garlic and olive oil!  To finish it off we had salad and a plum.  The plums here are STUPENDOUS.  Well, honestly the fruit in general is wonderful.

After lunch I uploaded some pictures and then it was SIESTA TIME (aka, nap time).  Probably one of my favorite things about living in Spain...they LOVE to nap!  Once we got up, Tiffany and I went exploring a little more to try and find stamps and postcards.  Even though we didn't find any shops that were open (they close for most of the afternoon) we did find out where the drugstore nearest us is. We also found a Burger King near us...but the Spanish food is too delicious for us to be eating there! :)

We came back home and looked up some places to visit tomorrow.  We plan to go to the Cathedral (the 3rd largest in the world) as well as to the River.  Our senora told us it was the perfect place to take a stroll on a Sunday afternoon.  She also said that if we wanted to watch any Spanish movies, she had some we could watch!  She's so sweet!

For dinner tonight we had green beans and potatoes (cooked in olive oil and garlic).  It was delicious, like everything else.  But I especially love it because it's something I love to eat at home.  Granted, mine is normally made much more unhealthy by the addition of butter, but at least now I know it can be made differently and more healthy.

But for now, it's super late and I need some rest (even though I did nap this afternoon!).  I'll definitely be posting more tomorrow as well as pictures of wherever we go!  Hasta luego!  :)
